Haha!! i back from 30hr famine camp! wooh!!!
although i just an helper , i had fun helping out! ^^ :P
x.x well went i reach there... i went to help distributing t shirt ... was divided into 3 section xs/s
m/l , xl/ xxl ..i help out in xs / s...which veri fast s run out le..and people came late doesnt have much choice..
in the end.. people had xs/ l to choose only hahas...who ask they all late come..
went to eat lunch b4 fasting wor..after tht no more solid food loh.. all liquid haha
we fast at 1pm...then was free all the way till 4 ...
then we prepare liquid dinner hahas
milo!!! but is truck tht kind loh..
hehe ...volunteer has priority to take milo from truck there hahaha!!!
drank few cups.. thru out..lol..anw our job is to line the milo up on table according to house..per house 125
total 8 house....1000cups..for voluteers oso... 200+++++ i thk...
dono oso ...lost count..
but by the time they come...the milo..taste like.....
ya haha...after they r gone.. i clear the trash..and slack again haha!!!!
all the way toking to frenz..asking where they from and tok crap loh...
next we went back hall....micheal the incharge...tell us to go bath first.. since we are free.. so...we went to bath hehe....after bath prepare their liquid supper
100 plus!!! wooh!! ..haha they suppose to crush the can and give it to mii but they ..throwing everywhere and stepping them to collect them ....
lol...i drank 1 100 plus..after stepping 400 cans... tired le..
so i drank another wan.. then continue.. in the end my shoe was damn sticky.. zzz washed them in the end...when im done in everything.....x.x slp at 2.....
wake up at 530...
totally forgotten i nid report at 6++
x.x lol..then went i join the other when they are awake... to go toilet then ..i rush to help out..
giving out liquid breakfast vita soy..:P
after tht the crowd come...faci help their group take .....
after they are leave for area cleaning and rehearsal..
we clean the place up...
then went for some briefing..
become a bus ic...-,-
then in between b4 they boarded the bus...
i had free time..so i went help to distribute water again ..tis time round..they had...their liquid lunch take wif them...^^
being bus ic was sucky...the faci not cooperative....
wel...went reach scape my job was done..phew..~~
next...was nth to do again..-.-
went to help out to distribute water..x.x
then.. volunteer to b a sandwich !! had a signboard to carry around..
haha...we had a performance in the middle of orchard road wooh!! and lyo and merly was around wif us oso ..haha alot of crowd stopped and ask wad happen wor..
we attracted alot of attention wooh!!
and then we gather at ion outside oso... the faci shouted ..."im hungry!"
and others shout " but they are starving!!!" for 3 time...
then we say tgt " we make dreams real !!! "
and we did tht at somewhere else oso but i dono where x.x
well went back...watch the dance.. well we attracted alot of people attention..they watching the dance oso..haha...
after tht i helped out in packing the food...
into packet bag... and other putting utensil in ..there oso people ..putting water in... then the rest of the volunteer helped to transport the food..to the floor and arrange neatly..
we break fast at 7....
and camper divided into their families...
well..after tht i helped out in distributing food again haha solid dinner!!! wooohhh!!!
hehe after eating ...i helped to clear the place up..
after everything done..
i went up to collect bag..but ...
a crowd was there...
i went in and help to control the crowd oso...x.x
half and hr ltr.. crowd was gone..people took their bag and gone home / wif their group member and slack...
i went off oso after everybody is almost...gone from the room...
take mrt home..and ...then buy some finger food..took bus home..then change to my bike..
hehe...reach home watched tv....
and unpack staff ...most importantly !!!!
BATH AND SLP!! but already ...almost 12 when i last see the time b4 i gone to dreamland.....
thru tis camp...
i learnt how the kid from the other countries... living in poverty feels...
not exactly cos..i only hunger for 30 hr...
but they doesnt have anyone to sponsor them water to drink...
having at least a liquid dinner...they might have something to eat..for a day but they dono when is their next meal.....world vision helping them to make their dreams true..no longer dono their next meal..
^^ it is a gd experience...i didnt regretted coming...although i may b doing serving only...
and veri last thing...
i thank God for helping mii thru
not tht hunger even though im fasting ^^
